Looking over the daily readings I did last week (I post Oracle of the Day readings here, here, and here!), I feel led to talk about them as a whole.
Often when we get stuck in life, spiritually or otherwise, we need to examine old ideas that we hold onto, that served who we once were, but are actually detrimental to who we are now, and the direction we’re wanting to go.
I know for me that I sometimes hang on to old thoughts, ideas, and memories that bring up anger. Anger is something that used to rule me, and it took me a long time to really learn to understand that while emotions are valid and important, it is absolutely our choice how and when we express these feelings. Anger especially is important to honor in a way that lets us process it in a healthy manner so we can move past it safely and into a space where we are ready to understand love in its most basic form.
At it’s core, love is a state of being. We feel different rays of love at different times, for sure, but at our core, we are love. It’s why our heart chakra is our base of operations, so to speak, on a spiritual level. The more we focus on that center of love, the more we notice the love around us. The more we notice the love we receive. Honoring that center of love is an act of service to ourselves. When we honor that regularly, it becomes so much easier to remember that we are worthy of love exactly as we are, full stop.
We don’t have to do or be anything other than who we are right this second to be worthy of love. When we know this simple truth, we begin to realize that our sense of “home”, of “belonging” resides within ourselves. We are home, simply put.
As we go into this next week, these ideas are worth some contemplation. If any of this rings important or true to you, think about how you can focus more on love, and on honoring yourself as the grounded home base that you are.
